The award „Excellent Education“ is given to those who  meet or exceed at least the underlying threshold value. Roughly speaking, this threshold value corresponds to the average value of the respective factor. In other words, those who achieve above-average results have exceeded the threshold. Poorer values on one scale can be compensated within certain value ranges for the final overall assessment by correspondingly higher values on another scale.

You can’t buy the „Excellent Education“ award. You get it awarded. Those who apply for this award receive a professional survey of their own students and teachers of their own educational institution. You can only call yourself awarded as „Excellent Education“ if the results are positive. Some institutions prefer not to face this external review of their own educational quality. Any institution who has been recognized as „Excellent Education“ is holding an award in their hands that also easily withstands independent verification by third parties.

When designing the survey, we were guided by the results of numerous studies that were carried out at various universities and institutes or under the responsibility of associations or other organizations. The review and evaluation of various empirical findings on the subject of „excellent education“ ultimately made it possible to design a survey whose core content ultimately reflects the essential facets for the evaluation of an educational institution.

no If the required point values for each scale are not achieved, you will not receive the „Excellent Education Award“. You remain anonymous afterwards, i.e. we do not name any institutions that were not able to win the award. However, you can actively deal with the topics marked as critical in the result report.

You can take part in the survey online, on paper or in a mixture of both.

You will receive a list of access codes for the survey from us. These access codes are then independently distributed to all those surveyed in the institution and authorize them to start the survey. Additional codes can be requested at any time during the course of the survey.

At the moment the online survey is available in English, Marathi and German (as of now).

After the end of the survey period, the data will be evaluated by us and condensed into a result report. This takes about 4-5 weeks. It is then immediately clear whether an award will be made as an „Excellent Education“.

The award can be used in advertising for one year. Then it has to be removed.

The survey has been designed in such a way that both a small educational institution and large ones can take part in the same survey. Nevertheless, there should be a certain minimum number of potential respondents so that the answers can be meaningfully condensed into an overall result.
